At DFI, we recognise that empowering women is essential for fostering a dynamic and innovative environment.
In addition to endorsing the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), DFI aims to increase women's representation in leadership roles to 40%, thereby enhancing gender diversity. To support this commitment, we have implemented several initiatives aimed at uplifting female talent within our organisation.
In 2023, our Women's Network launched a Mentorship Program specifically designed for women leaders. This program pairs participants with senior business leaders who serve as mentors, providing invaluable support for career development at DFI. Through this initiative, women team members can broaden their organisational knowledge, expand their networks, and receive candid advice on stakeholder management.
The mentorship experience is mutually beneficial; mentors often gain fresh perspectives by working with mentees from different business units or generations. This exchange enriches the professional growth of both parties, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. In its inaugural year, the program successfully established over 20 mentorship pairs, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing female talent.
