14 Feature Zones to Make for a Culinary Paradise

Specialising in fresh products, Wellcome Fresh houses 14 feature zones. The three Fresh Ingredient Zones – the Fresh Produce Zone, the Butcher Shop, and the Seafood Zone – showcase seasonal items curated from around the world at unbeatable prices. The Bakery, Dried Fruits and Nuts, and Local Snacks Zones offer a range of locally made snack options – most of which are available on our online store, too. The store’s Food Street is home to eight cooked food zones, serving a vast array of grab-and-go meals for those who lead a hectic life.

As one of the store highlights, the Fresh Produce Zone carries a large collection of tropical fruits and vegetables sourced from Thailand and Southeast Asia, as well as from Japan, Korea, Australia, Europe, and the US. Signature items include Saveol tomatoes from France, avocados from New Zealand, sustainably farmed pea sprouts and Dolci navel oranges from Australia (Wellcome Fresh exclusive). Customers are guaranteed the freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables all year round. In addition, Wellcome Fresh introduces the Locally Grown Organic Produce Zone, as well as the Hydroponics Zone, to meet the diverse needs of customers. Most produce is not pre-packaged – customers are free to handpick items in quantities to their liking. With minimal packaging, customers are able to shop for greens, while being green.

The Butcher Shop features a series of meats, including locally farmed black Iberian pork without added hormones, free range chicken from Qingyuan, and other popular local products typically found at traditional markets. What is more, customers will find a variety of organic, additive-free meat from different corners of the world, such as wagyu beef, pork, and poussin from Kagoshima (Japan); you can also find 120-day grain-fed Angus beef from Australia, as well as other superior meats – all at great prices. For those who cannot afford to spend much time in the kitchen, Wellcome Fresh has prepared plenty of pre-designed meal solutions for sale. Unique Store Décor to Re-imagine Traditional Market

Besides its exceptional products, Wellcome Fresh is characterised by its unique décor, integrating traces of local cultural elements into its store space. With accents of wood and an earthy tone throughout the store, each feature zone is represented by a specific colour with murals and adornments of the same motif. In the Butcher Shop, pieces of juicy pork are hung on iron hooks with a traditional red price tag, creating an authentic market ambiance. The Seafood Zone is most recognisable by its light blue and white tiles, complemented by a large mural featuring different seafoods. There are also fishing nets hung from the ceiling next to the seafood zone’s signature red lamps, nicely blending tradition with modernity. This one-of-a-kind décor of Wellcome Fresh transforms any regular grocery shopping experience into an extraordinary food expedition for customers.
