Starting in October 2021, IKEA Swedish Restaurants in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan began introducing certified cage-free eggs across their menus. As a result, a total of 11 IKEA restaurants in these regions now use cage-free eggs for their dishes.
In April 2024, IKEA Macau launched a new menu at their Swedish Restaurant that featured the use of cage-free eggs. Menu items included honey ham, potato and egg salad as well as Scotch egg with fries and truffle mayonnaise. This underscores IKEA’s continued commitment in healthy and sustainable living.
